No, not all systems require a carrier bearing drop bracket. 

Typically the 2.5” leveling systems do not require carrier bearing drop brackets. However, some applications may experience driveline vibration issues when lifting the rear of the vehicle. These issues will only occur on 4.5” inch lift kits and higher. If necessary, ICON offers a carrier bearing drop bracket - Part #33700.
