Most independent front suspension systems use the coil over as the limiting component when setting down travel. The upper control arm us typically the deciding factor due to it&apos;s lack of angularity. ICON engineers have found that more travel is available if the upper control arm is upgraded to allow for additional suspension movement. When you combine the added angularity of the ICON upper control arm with the extended travel coil over the suspension is capable of more down travel. ICON engineers design each application to allow the maximum travel available given the factory geometry. Systems with an ICON UCA included in the kit will automatically default to extended travel coilovers when applicable.
ICON Stage 1 kits have standard travel coilover since no UCA is present in the kit.
ICON Stage 2 is where UCA are first introduced to the systems and will include extended travel through Stage 4.

ICON highly recommends measuring the fender to hub distance prior to installation in order to calculate the amount of lift over stock your vehicle achieves.
