How do you get the driver side front axle to droop far enough to install the longer ICON JT coil springs?Updated 5 days ago
On the front of the Jeep JT’s at full extension, with the shock absorber disconnected, the drive line will not allow the axel housing to droop far enough to install the ICON coil spring. At that angle the stock OEM driveline is coming in contact with the crossmember or exhaust manifold. In order to avoid this issue, you have to disconnect the front driveline prior to attempting to install the coil springs. Once the front driveline is disconnected driver side axle will droop far enough to install the ICON coil spring. Please call ICON tech-support for more details (951) 689-ICON.
